Dear All,

H:\usr\sap\WBP\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\archive---size of this folder is 27 gb.

I think java trace files are active that is why archive files are growing in GB.

Please suggest how to deactive the same and let us if there is any other reason for the same.

Thanx in advance.

regards

Nirgun

You can switch off/on archive function and file locations by

Visual Admin->Server/Dispatcher->Service->Log configurator -> Properties- ON/OFF, location and also you can enable trace for specific application by pressing Zip like icon in the same screen.

check following link.

Hi,

size of trace file always depends on what level you have set your trace level ?

check trace level in Visual Admin by following below link:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/ec/f02640ab2c195de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

Generally if everything is fine..Trace level should be set on Error. Check this...

Thanks
