increasing background work process

Hi All,

I need to increase BG work process from can on e tell me how to increaase and aslo after incrasing do i need to restart sap server and please tell me how to do.

Hi,

In RZ10, go to instance profile and increase the value of parameter

rdisp/wp_no_btc

once Ur done restart the instance.

Hi,

First let me know how many work processes you have in your system .

Now need to have proper memory for setting these parameters .

To avoid performance problem set this parameter with in limits.

And the process told above is fine for setting this parameter.

please ask your basis team to handle this issue

basically it is done from rz10 tcode in instance profile just fyi
