Soap webservice or Function Module Webservice

Hi

what is the difference between webservice created from the soap communication channel and webservice created from se37 for a function module?(utilities-more utilities-create webservice-from function module).

when a third party has to transfer data to sap under what conditions we choose web service of RFC and Webservice for soap communication channel,interface?

if you use the one from SE37 then the SOAP call will not be done with the use of XI/PI

if you use the one from soap communication channel then you can see the message inside XI/PI

depends if you want/need to monitor the flow in XI then you can choose one or the other

also the one from SE37 will be faster as there is no XI in the middle
