Dear All,
we are working on SRM 5.0 Classic scenario with ECC 6.0 as a backend system. Now we want to include External Service Management (ESM) through SRM.
Now the problem is for services only can we have standalone scenario, where in only FI documents will be posted in ECC, Rest of the stuff like PO/ POC/ GR/GR Confirmation will happen over SRM only.
Kindly suggest the Process flow for this business scenario & the customization needed.
Regards,
Vivek
Hello Vivek,
SRM 7.0 shopping cart & PO do not support service hierarchies. Good idea will be to use the supported service hierarchy scenario, which works well in classic implementation:
1. Create a service PReq in ECC
2. Send to SOCO or create a RFx
3. Trigger ECC PO from SRM
4. GR/Confirmation can be done ECC or SRM
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Ashutosh

Hi,
You can configure the Service procurement in the current Classic scenario what you are using .
Please configure the necessary steps for service procurement .
Standalone scenario is one of the technical scenario where the company which is implementing the SRM does not have
SAP R/3 as Backend, they will have some other non sap system for FI
