Warehouse management Add to existing stock

I have setup a storage type with putaway strategy I Addn to stock X and capacity check method 3.

The material has a max bin quantity of 5.

I have 1 bin with 5 pieces and 1 bin with 4 pieces.

No i want to receive 2 pieces into the warehouse, but SAP proposes me a next empty bin, but what i would like is that it automatically puts 1 in addition to the bin with 4 and then a next bin with 1 piece. Is this possible?

I can do add to existing stock, but i want that SAP does it automatically.

Hello,

Although you are using addition to existing stock strategy,system is proposing next empty bin because you must have define Bin capacity. In addtion to existing stock strategy, onece bin capacity is fullfilled, system proposes next empty bin. Only thing you can do is, select addition to existing stock at the time of creation of TO. System will provide you the bin list of stock of material.

You can then add the stock as per your choice. Or otherwise , use the strategy of your choice using user exit.
