unlock an object SCC4 txn

Hi guys,

i know that SOBJ can change some status from objects

i need to unlock 2 views that need transport or open the client SCC4, every time we want to modify them (this view are updated in CB85 TXN)

the object that i need to modify is:

V_T496N

Object V_T496N

Type V View

Short text Names of Lists

Category CUST Customizing objects (client-specific)

Transport Automatic transport

Adjustment Automatically Adjustable

which values are needed?

you can goto SE06 / System Change Option and set Customer Developmentst to Modfiable.

That way you dont need to open any system for changes via SCC4.

Note that this should be done in your development system only!

the problem is we want to avoid transports or open client in Production.

why dont you change this view in your development system and transport it?!

I found a sap note

SAP Note 356483

the note said

"The transport connection for the view or table can be deactivated as

follows:

o Call transaction SE54

o Enter the Customizing object (view or table)

o Select "Generated objects"

o Choose "Create/change"

o Select "no, or user, recording routine" in the bottom part of the

screen

o Save the change

In the case of a view cluster, you can deactivate the transport link by

switching it off for all related views or tables. Follow the steps below:

o Call transaction SOBJ

o Select "Display"

o Select "Position"

o In the field "Object", enter the Customizing object (View cluster)

and the value "C" into the type field.

o Select the Customizing object and select "Piece list" in the

navigation

o All views or tables contained in the view cluster are displayed.

Deactivate the transport link for these views or tables as

described above."
