Dear Gurus,

We are trying to reverse a purchase order.for which MIGO has be done.

let me explain in detail.

In our case material was purchased and migo was done then material went into quality lot and was then posted into unrestricted but the posting was done wrongly so now its has to be revsered.

I followed the following procedure

1)First step:Maintained 08 inspection type in Material Master

2)2nd Step:Reversed the stock from unrestricted to Quality via movement type 322.

3)3rd Step: I tried to reverse the Purchase order via T.code MB01 and movement type 102,Now got above error.

can do the reversal through MBST t.code

Please let me know if the above procedure done me right and where i am going wrong.

Hi,

You have to check as below-:

1) Is that material laying in QM?If not then ok.If yes then take the whole qty into Unrestricted area thorugh 321 M.Type.

2)Now deactivate the Inspection Type through QA08.

3)Put the material againg in QM through 322 M.type.

4)Now go to Cancellation of MIGO.It works.

5)after reversal again activate Inspection Type through QA08

Dear,.

I think you are trying to cancel the partial GR.

You need to cancel the material document through MBST T.Code

lets say you have done MIGO 101 for 100 pcs

and after it you make MBST then the material document will be canceled which was created during GR

so it makes at the background 102 for all 100 pcs for you.

Else use 122 movement to return the material to vendor and take GR again.

This is because:

You have done the reversal by 08 inspection type,where you do not have referrence or original Purchase document & Material Document.

so when you are doing 102 of original document it is not allowing.

now for this solution is use note.

Crete a t code where you can reverse the "Document specific Reversal".This is the best solution.

can do the reversal through MBST t.code

This is possible because you are cancelling document wrt original document & picking Quantiy for Quality.
