error in configuring initial setup of "Configuration of ESR in CE"

Hello,

I have installed SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 with ESR. But in wizard configuraiton execution of "Configuration of ESR in CE" it shows me the error "Importing XI Content" com.sap.xi.ctc.app file is not found.

I have gone through some Notes on the service market place, it says to configure this file manually in CE by using "Enterprise Service Builder". But the option what in note mentioned is not found in my enterprise service builder. The portal where these detail manual configuration steps are written is in PI 7.1.

Do I have to install PI 7.1 on the same server that CE configuration wizard finds the missing file??? or any other recommendation???

Hi!

Download appropriate version of ESR XI content from service marketplace and import it manually in ESR.

You don't need to install PI 7.1.

You need to download the content as mentioned in the weblog & upload it manually..
