missing type G in SM59 like HTTP Connections to Ext. Server in CRM4.0

hello friens,

i have a crm4.0 with following pl-status:

SAP_BASIS 620 0050 SAPKB62050 SAP Basiskomponente

SAP_ABA 620 0050 SAPKA62050 Anwendungsübergreifende Komponente

BBPCRM 400 0009 SAPKU40009 BBPCRM

PI_BASIS 2004_1_620 0003 SAPKIPYI53 Basis Plug-In (PI_BASIS) 2004_1_620

ST-PI 2005_1_620 0008 SAPKITLQG8 SAP Solution Tools Plug-In

ST-A/PI 01K_CRM400 0000 - Application Servicetools BBPCRM 400

WP-PI 211_610 0000 - WP-PI 211_610: Install. WP-PI for R/3 6.

SM51:

it is an kernel 640_REL, i think.

My Question: where is the type G of rfc-destination ?

Hi

on the crm4.0 i miss type g, but in our crm4.0 type g is present.

What support package and kernel patchlevel are you running on the system where G is not present?

sm51 - i dont have permissions for this transaction, how can i see that, alternatively.

in se16 on table rfcdes, i see rfctype G.

What happens if you enter "G" in the type field and press enter?

no entries.

maybe, that is a setting in SPRO transaction on WAS?

i wont hard hack in database with se11/ se16 to make entries

which sap_basis & sap_aba patchlevel is required for type g? that is the question.

Hello,

Your BASIS patch is 6.20, so even if your Kernel is 6.40 , your WEB AS is 6.20.

Type G is not available i think for 6.20 basis patch.

The only available types are as follows for 6.20:

So you might want to use Type T for TCP/IP connection.

here, i have type g og rfc-dest.

I need type G, because i need the field pathprefix, taht is the standard-sap.

hello markus,

can you see with se16 in table rfcdes under rfctype G in a crm4.0 machine any rfc-destinations? i see that in our crm4.0, but not by the csutemers crm4.0.
