Launch SAP Transactions

Hi

An external non sap application communicates with ECC 6 via PI. This application wants to trigger the launch of either SAP GUI for windows or SAP GUI for HTML along with some parameters to show some data. Is this possible at all? Can PI trigger something to launch it? If so, how can this be implemented?

no, PI is not for showing data on screens of some applications

Hi,

can't we do this as below,

by making the FTP location on the Target PC and run a script for file watch, after receive file that OS script will open a portal screen using pre stored logon certificates and specific command from file.

Just a thought.
