try following things

1) after placing UI elements on view, open something else e.g. component, window, applicat. etc. and then again open view, those ui elements should be visible now

2) if the the layout prop of rootcontainer ui element is Matrix, make sure that layout data prop of first element is matrix head data

1) Check host file entry with server addres and server name

goto start-> run-> type 'drivers' ->etc-> open host file in note pad -> make server entry

2) check proxy settings of browser

tools->internet options->connections->lan settings-> advanced->exceptions

Hi,

You need to make sure that the following things are in place;

1.Check if you have entered the IP Address and Host Name into Windows host file.

Run->cmd>drivers->etc->hosts-> enter ip address (tab) hostname on the last line.

( You can get host name from the URL of the application also: Double click on the application you can see the URL there in the right pane. )

2. Also check if your server is fully qualified. Refer [FQDN|http://help.sap.com/SAPHELP_NW04S/helpdata/en/67/be9442572e1231e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm]
