billingplan and milestone billing

Hi Experts,

my client requirement is milestone billing in projects.

Please suggest me step by step how should i configure this in SAP.

i am also confuse in billing plan? IS milestone billing is not possible with out billing plan?

where we define billing plan?

Yes billing plan is must for milestone billing.

where we define billing plan?

Select the service or external activity then top menu path select Edit --> Activity --> Invoice plan

In that you can define the billing plan like this

Enter the invoice date , % of the bill and here you can define the milestone number. So based on the milestone number the billing plan will work.

Hi

First create the milestone usage and groups in spro Project system --> Structures --> templates -->std milestone.

Then you create the milestone in your project using the standard template , in that you specify the usage , group milestone date and percentage of completion and save. You will get the milestone number for that then assign the number into the billing plan.

The milestone date and the billing plan date should match in this case.
