Hello Team,

I have a problem. Please let me know if you have done this before.

Workflow Normal Correction )

1> Requestor will create Change Request and Email will go change Manager -

>Done

2>Change Manager authorize it and change document is created .

At step 2

Can we have after authorized by change Manager , next action will be authorized by change advisory board and then change document is created.

In my current workflow change document is created after change request authorized by change Manager.

Please let me know if anybody has anidea.

Best Regards,

Tushar

What Jan described is the right solution. You can insert another authorization status in SDCRHEAD between 'Created' and 'Authorized'. Then use SPPFCADM to create an action for 1st authorization.

The difference is you let change manager to use the action you created to authorize the first change. This action will not create change document. You can then let CAB to use the standard action to authorize. This action will create change document.

Hi Team,

When we create Change Request via Charm_create at that time we mention following things.

1> Sold to party

2> Requestor

3> Change Manager

4> Change Advisory board

5> Ibase

Now Please let me now when Change Advisory Board comes into picture?

Hello Tushar,

You might have a look into transaction SPPFCADM.

choose application CRM_ORDER.

-> Choose Condition Configuration (Transportable Condition)

-> Look for Action Profile of Change Request (double click)

In the upper right view (action definition), your first authorization step should be listed.

Copy this line and rename it. Then you will have to play around with the schedule condition (we have a similar setting, where the second authorization has scheduling condition

&CRM Service Process.ErrorFreeFlag& = X

and

&CRM Service Process.User Status& [*] E0004+DCRHEAD )

Save the scheduling condition and it should work.

Hi Jan,

Let me explain. This question is not about sending an email but about ' not having action for Change Advisory Board'

In my workflow ( Normal Correction ) Change Advisory board is not coming into picture.

My Current workflow is :-->

1> Requestor creates Change Request and Email will go to change Manager

2> Change Manager will approve or reject it

3> If approved, Change Document will be created and developer will set in developement

4> After development is through ( creating transport ,released tasks ) , developer will set status as 'development completed'

But here Change Advisory board should approve after change manager approve it. But CAB does not come into picture.

Please let me know if anybody has an idea.

Tushar,

There is no action for CAB or in any cycle of CHARMS

Reason is

The change manager is suppose to belong to a group of persons ..this group is CAB.

so just like in ur service desk there is support team & one member becomes message processor same way

Here

when change manager who belongs to group of CM or CAB member ...comes & approves the same

Hope now it clarifies ur doubt

Hi Prakhar,

Thanks. Let me clarify more.

We are using two approval process.

1> Change Request will be approved by change Manager ( Lead )

2> After approval from change Manager, CAB team ( includes 2 two members ) will approve it.

So first one is working for me but second is not coming into pic.

Well I am creating Support Team CAB for it by refering but Business partner is not generated for it automatically.

Question here is

How to get second approval in picture?

hi,

For CAB creation use this blog

/people/dolores.correa/blog/2007/10/06/service-desk-support-team-determination

& also for creating CAB is just like creating a Support Team

After approval from change Manager, CAB team ( includes 2 two members ) will approve it.

Here you can create zaction .....for ur purpose no standard action is available

Hope now ur prob is solved.

Prakhar

Note follow this...as sdn has diff way of saying thanks,

Hi Prakhar,

I am already going through /people/dolores.correa/blog/2007/10/06/service-desk-support-team-determination but after creating org.plamn it does not Business Partner to it.

Well, How Can I create Zactions? Is it documented by SAP.

Consult a Solman consultant or CRM person for this.

Hello Tushar,

Yes, I understood that.

What I tried to explain is our workflow, which seems similar:

1. Change is created in SolMan

2. Change is authorized by Authority 1 (e.g. Change Manager) (your current step #2)

3. Change is authorized by Authority 2 (e.g. CAB)

4. the following documents are created. (your current step #3)

(I would post screenshots, if possible.)

You can do this in multiple ways:

a) as I described, which will put in an extra action to do. Additionally to my explanation, you might see the need for further email actions.

b) you create a custom field (checkbox), with which the CAB or Change Manager document their approval. this is of course not a sophisticated solution and there must be strong organizational observation, that all are aligned to the approval processes.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for positive reply.

Option A seems to be good.

If you can post screenshots or link to screen shots, it will really help.

Hi Team,

Consider following flow.

Change Request created -

>Authorized by Change Manager -

>authorized by CAB

Now I copied Authorize action of SDCR action profile but which condition should we set so that it will recongnise that chage reuqest is approved by change Manager.

Please let me know if anybody has any idea.

Best Regards,

Tushar.
