post installation instructions for exchange profile

Hi,

is there any doc/blog/how-to guide with instructions of

configuring various parameters in the exchange profile, and

registering the SLD related rfc destinations etc.

my basis guys have installed PI, but unable to open ifr page from SAP gui. it says "Enterprise Services Builder Address not maintained".

when i try to open the ifr page directly, by typing the url in internet explorer address bar, then it says: "Configuration error: Parameter "com.sap.aii.connect.directory.name" contains the invalid value".

pls let me know where we can get relavant instructions doc.

Hi

Access exchangeProfile page using this URL - http://<hostname>:<port>/exchangeProfile

1. In the "Connection" section change the entry for the property com.sap.aii.connect.integrationbuilder.startpage.url:

Replace rep/start/index.jsp with dir/start/index.jsp.

If this not solve in calling sxmb_ifr from ABAP then follow these instructions in exchangeprofile

2. Ensure all these below entries have PI hostname (fully qualified name)

com.sap.aii.connect.directory.mshost

com.sap.aii.connect.directory.name

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.name

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.mshost

com.sap.aii.connect.repository.mshost

com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name

com.sap.aii.connect.rwb.name

com.sap.aii.connect.rwb.r3.mshost

com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.name

com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.mshost

3. Ensure all these below entreis pointing to your SLD system

com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name

com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name

4. Ensure below entry has value - is.<instance no>.<hostname>

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.sld.name

example - is.00.piprod

5. Ensure all these below entries has correct PI client name

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.client

com.sap.aii.connect.rwb.r3.client

com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.client

6. Ensure all these below entries has correct port no (may be default HTTP port or WebDispatcher port if it's implemented)

com.sap.aii.connect.directory.httpport

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.httpport

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.httpport

com.sap.aii.connect.repository.httpport

com.sap.aii.connect.rwb.httpport

com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport

Try with these task if still problem persists revert back in the form.
