Easy DMS Installation - A Desktop Installation

One of the things that would be very beneficial to us is to install Easy DMS on a Citrix server to minimize the amount of upkeep required for each individual desktop installation. The install bat file insists on installing to the C drive and the installation guide references this as a desktop installation.

Quote...SAP Easy Document Management is a desktop installation which means that you have to install it on each useru2019s computer.

Does anyone know of any alternatives to this, or the rationale behind prohibiting a Citrix type of deployment?

Hi Samantha,

please check the note 903827 "FAQ for Easy DMS 6.0".

I quote you the most important step:

"Question: Does easyDMS supports WTS and Citrix environments?

Answer: No. Citrix and WTS environments are not officially supported by

easyDMS. EasyDMS may work in some cases; however in case of any issues, SAP

will not support it. Also, the Offline functionality is not available in

these environments."
