HOW TO INTERGRATE PI 7.0 AND R/3 4.7 SYSTEMS IN VMWARE

Hi,

i have installed PI 7.0 on windows 2003 server and i have installed R/3 4.7 in VMWARE. Can anyone tel me how to integrate 4.7 with PI 7.0 . I should be able to retrived data from 4.7 to PI . Can anyone help me on this .

To exchange messages with the Exchange Infrastructure Integration Server you can use ABAP proxies.

To send a message to the Integration Server, use aABAP client proxy.

There is nothing special to connect R/3 in VM ware compared to any other R/3 system, besides the hostname.

Do have any specific issue caused of the VM ware, or do you want to know, how to connect a 4.7 system in general?
