Reassign purchase orders

We have SRM 4.0 ECS , R3 4.7

I have a problem, one of our purchasers will be deleted (purchaser1) and other will be created (purchaser2) in the same purchase organization. In fact, the second one replaces at first one.

Is possible reassign the purchase orders from purchaser1 to purchaser2?

Both users share the same purchasing group.

it should not be a problem as long as the purchaser's userid is still existing in the system and not deleted.

it should be possible for the second purchaser to make changes to the purchase orders created by the first purchaser
