Hi! Does anyone have documentation on how to create a business partner in transaction BP and have it show up in the Processor list in Issue Management?
Thanks,
Lonny
Hello,
The incident management and issue management functionalities are integrated, so the same way you create a BP for the incident management you create it for issue management.
Do not forget to associate the correct BP to the user in transaction BP.

Hi
for any users of solman issue management you need BP or master data
so you can call Tcode BP_GEN and then choose system followed users to create the BP
Once done you can simply goto BP for that particular user in BP tcode and choose the role as Employee then save it with userID because everybody is not processor.normally processor is the one providing solution to key users who raise incident

I see lots of documentation for Incident Management and how to create a BP in the "User Maintenance Manual" tutorial, but I don't see anything that tells you how the BP shows up on the ISSUE Management processor list in DSWP. Other suggestions? Also, when you create a BP, where does the Identification Number come from?
Thanks,
Lonny

Hi Lonny,
Please refer to http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman -> Solution Manager <version> -> Operations with SolMan -> Incident
Management
The RKT gives step-by-step explanation of the procedure including creation of BP etc.
