Hi, I am Angeline

I am getting an error messages while login server NW2004s,

"SAP System Message:

No Connect to database, session terminated"

All instances are running, and all workprocess are running fine, what is that problem ?

Check that your database and listener (if Oracle) is up and running....

You can see detailed information about that error is dev_w0.

Please post it here

The problem was OracleDatabase services was not working....

Now problem is resolved, but still dispacuture is yellow color, even all workprocess are waiting...

I would like to know how to check listerner is running or not ?

Hi,

Greetings for the day!!!

I am getting same error in my SAP system.

No Connect to database: Session terminated.

I am using Oracle 10g. I am sure you must have got some solution. I will be so thankful to you, if you can share the solution to me.

Hi,

Please check on the following.

1. Login at OS level as sidadm user and issue R3trans -d and ensure you get return code 0000.

2. Check the status of your database instance. Login to sqlplus as sysdba and issue "select status from v$instance;" it should show database is in open state.

3. Check whether your listener is running fine through "lsnrctl status" command as orasid user.

Ideally there can be a deadlock situation might have occured in database that might have causes an inconsistent state of your system. Please try restarting your system incase you are not able to locate the underlying root cause.

Is there any backup going on? Is this error you are getting all the time or only for specific time?
