MII vs. ME II

Helllo SDN Community,

ME II - SAP Training says this is "Curriculum: Manufacturing Execution II (Formerly Visiprise )"

MII - Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence

1) What's the difference between these?

2) Is this the right forum in which to post ME II questions?

Hi Dean,

I do not think that ME has a forum yet. They are two distinctly different products. ME is an Manufacturing Execution System targetting the Discrete Products area (Electronics, A&D, Automotive, etc.). Read Jeremy's link for more information (at a high level). However if you post here, I will engage some ME folks to respond to your posting. Since MII is used by ME to interface to SAP ERP systems, there are often some questions regarding the interface posted here.

It looks like a good start, but it is only the wiki, not the forum for posting questions. I think that the forum is needed in order to get ME questions a place to be asked (besides the MII forum).
