Hi All ,

We are in SRM 5.0 , Extended classic scenoria. Can any one tell me when will be the Delete and Complete button in "Process Purchase Orders " will be enabled. And whats the purpose of the two buttons.

And if we delete the PO, we can find the respective Shopping cart in sourcing cockpit how about "Complete".

Thanks,

Hi

Once the Purchaser order has been ordered, the complete button will be enabled in display mode. On clicking the complete button the document will be completed. No further changes will be allowed to the document.

Even though it is not recommended you can remove the complete status through the function module CRM_STATUS_UPDATE. In JEST_UPD type client, GUID of the order, status I1023 and X as indicator.

Muthu,

although the complete button seals the SRM PO for Changes, in SRM it does not do much else.

It should remove budget commitments in the back end system, but it doesn't.

So once pressed the PO is "Transaction Completed" status and now users have no way of releasing unused budget commitments in the back end FI system.

If users press "Complete" button by accident/ignorance it looks almost impossible to undo the action, even with admin rights.

If someone knows of a way to undo the complete button action or to make it more useful we would like to hear?

We have disabled the Complete button our SRM 550 system.

Is it possible to remove the remaining commitment to a cost element from either a non-completed PO, or completed PO?  We are running SRM extended classic 7.0, so we can not edit SRM POs directly in ECC.

Hi,

Delete button is for Held status POs whereas Complete is for Ordered status POs.

Completed POs would not show up in sourcing list.
