Hi All,
I would like to perform a client export. However, i afraid my usr/sap/trans would not have sufficient space. How do I estimate how much space will be use for this client transport request?
Regards
Lauran
Lauran,
Check SAP Note 118823 CC-ADMIN: Size of a client
SAP Note 489690 CC INFO: Copying large production clients

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You can calculate the size of the client by using the info in SAP Note 118823

Hi ,
For that i think you can Just run Test run in Sccl and check that what is the space required bu that client and then you can adjust according ly your trans directory.
So the approx size of datafile that will be crested in Trans will be 1/10 of client Size theat you get from test run.

RSSPACECHECK is the report.
but do a test copy of the client will get the size of that specific client.
