Master data and design model

Hi guru's,

I am working on a new project and would like to know

How to Maintain the Master data at Client –Server architecture ?

I got the reporting requirements and would like to build a <b>logical</b> model. Should i need to take help of Erwin to do this. Pls provide me some information on how to solve my situation.

Hi,

Its better to follow something like Erwin as you said. One can't give you entire design in a single post, but can give when you ask questions step by step with business requirement. And this is not possible always. So apart from Erwin collect as much info as possible from other sources too.

Could u pls provide some initial steps to start of the process as I never involved in logical modelling design and aslo i requested a template kind of thing with my lead but unfortunately we dont have anything. pls provide some useful resources to kick start the process.u can email me at venus.pk@gmail.com.
