SRM Local Contract

Hi,

Is local contract available as a source of supply ehile creating SC in SRM in CLASSIC Sceanrio.If yes,

Pls let me know if local contract is selected as a source of supply while creating SC in SRM, Will that create PO in R/3 in classic scenario.

NO Venky in SRM 5.0. It is only for Extended Classic.

but in SRM 7.0 SAP is working on to have a central contract concept .

You mean to say Locla contracts will not be available as a source of supply?

OR

R/3 PO will not be created if we select local contract as source of supply

Yes. In extended classi it is possible but not in classic.
