Input Error: cannot connect to <computer name>/<Database Instance name>

Hi,

While doing the system import, I am facing the input error as :

"Input Error: cannot connect to SERV1\SERV2

Erro(s) returned:

[SQL aerver] cannot open the user default database.Login failed. Check that you specified the correct name for the database server, that the server is running and you are authorized to log on to it."

Here, SERV1 is a computer name and SERV2 is a database instance name. I am logged in to computer using SIDADM account and SQL server is up and running. Sql server has windows default login authentications.

Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue?

Hi,

Please check the below mentioned Note.

Note 806925 - SQL Error 4064: Cannot open user default database

Please use administrator for the import process.
