cant read header text with function "read_text"

Hi experts,

i have a text that i cant read with "read_text" function.

the text is in iw32->operations->external->the text of the operation.

is anyone know how can i read this text?

maybe with another function or something else?

You can use READ_TEXT for this,

Text ID: AVOT

Text Object: AUFK

It should give the content, may be you check whether you gave the correct text name, otherwise you can read from STXH & STXL table, but my concern is even READ_TEXT would get it from this table only.

Be told that company code and workordernumber are needed WITH leading zero´s.

maybe that was your problem.
