intercompany on B/1

Hi,

we need to do a intercompany relationship between two SBO company

on the same server. In company-A we create a purchase order and in

company B we would to create the sales order automatically without

user interaction or with low user interaction.

Do you know if exist a intercompany add-on ? (or similar solution for B/1?)

We need same for invoices and goods receipt

I don´t have any interest on it.

But as I said before, don´t expect to be able to replicate everything. Just another example: If you delete BP addresses on a database, none of these tools will be able to delete it on the second one. Same with Contacts.

The problem resides that these tools use the DI API, and the DI API doesn´t allow you to do it.

We have made our own replication soft too, and find these restrictions ago. So you have 2 options:

- Wait untill DI API gives you a better object support (and don´t be able to replicate everything)

- Use code and senteces that you are not allowed to use to get a complete replication.

Hope this thread helps to show SAP, the problems we (the partners) have to solve this kind of scenarios.

There isn't a standard SAP solution with SAP Business Connector or SAP XI (really too expencive for a B/1 custumer). All proposed solution are similar to a EAI or middleware.

SAP are working on their own solution called B1i (Will work with B1 to B1 and B1 to MySAP), but this is only in Rampup large customers... Release date is estimated to the end of 2006, but from what I've heard the product are not as far as hoped so i might be 2007 before we see it....

I know of some attempts to make such a solution, but they sounded very customized...

Have you checked out the CPSN solutions... perhaps someone have listed an addon there...

Hi Alessandro,

Another option is using iBolt, that is well tested. It is quite user friendly and powerfull.

But the problem with all this tools is that they are based on the DI API. So if your task can be done using it, there is no problem. But if DI API doesn´t expose the functionality you need, you will not be able to do it.
