Hi SRM Gurus,

Please help and advise. We cannot proceed with SHC due to "Please enter Price" error.

Everytime we enter price, the price will be automatically deleted and the error will continously appear. Please enter price error.

We badly need this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Chris

Is it for free text (special request) shopping cart?

in the meantime do you have source of supply for that item? check if any sos detail if it exists. what SOS data exists?

Does your business validating the cart for price every time via doc check badi?

Hi Chris

for catalog sc you can not enter price since it is coming from catalog?

for free text , you can enter price.

did you check any source of supply folder in sc ? like contract, vendorlist?

can you create a another cart with some other currency ?

what price are you entering in price field ? plz give some details if any decimal too.

Hi Muthmu,

We can only use contract catalog for now since it has price already.

We cannot use other catalog like service, generic, etc because the price that we enter will atomatically deleted.

any price that we enter will be deleted ex: 100.00 or 2 or 123.22, any price will be automatically deleted.

We are using PHP as currency.

Thank a lot for your help. hope we can solve this.

In addition, before it was working but tehn we had apply several OSS notes. now it is not working, I believe it has something tyo do with the applied OSS notes. If my theory is correct I need to know what OSS note that could be missing that could solve this issue.

Hi Chris

for eg.

we can procure via many links given in srm

(1) seearch the products via catalog

and we can click any one of the catalog link and order the cart.

here we may enter only Quantity like 2 ( not price since price is picked up catalog which we uploaded). In standard SRM , we can not enter price. thats why i am asking you.

have you done any development in the srm templates to make edit the price for catalog shopping carts.?

2) Describe Requirement

here we enter quantity with UOM , price ,category we select and required on date.

In the above which one are you using for ordering the cart.

which SRM version are you working on?

Hi Chrisell,

I am not sure with your version and components but you may look at SAP Note 693175 and see if it's applicable to your system.

Hi,

Try resetting the pricing engine -VMC. Using txn-SM52, you can reset it and see if it is working.

Hi Muthmu,

Thanks for info.

We are using SRM version 5.0.

In our current business process, products are maintained in valuation price. meaning you can input your price manully as well as the quantity.

Step One.

a. Click on shop

b. select material

c. enter price, quantity in basic data tab

- this where the error occurs- price are automatically deleted

TAKE NOTE:

PRICE ARE NOT MAINTAINED IN MATERIAL.

ONLY CONTRACT CATALOG HAS DEFINED PRICE, OTHER CATALOG REQUIRES MANUALLY ENTERED PRICE.

Hi Chris

In standard what happens for material you may have price so we brought the price by EBP_BACKEND_prices report from ecc to srm. However this price is for only informal. This price will be over ridden by like contract/ inforecord/vendor list when it creates a PO . Any reason why you dont maintain price in MM03 for this material.

vendor will populate in the basic data as you assigned source of supply ( if you have contract thisvendor come to basic data as a supplier).

Hi Muthmu,

we have not yet enter vendor in creation of shopping cart.

It will undergo first in bidding. We will just enter the vendors name in Purchase Order.

ThankS!

Hi Chris

Learnt that your material is non-valuated stock so price may not maintain.

I believe some where validation is happening for price

as per satandard we can create a cart for 0 price .

any BADI implementation for validating the price via BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI ?

Are you influencing any error message?

Hi Mutmu,

But system wont allow zero price.

Budget check is activated in our system. so we cannot put price lower than the PO price.

I am not indoing anything to have this error.

Thanks again...

Hi Chrisell,

Have a look at the following OSS Note:

Note 618211 - Service, price is lost

Is it applicable in your case?
