Hi Madhu,
- Crystal Reports has several connectivies towards SAP BW and SAP R/3. With our version XI R2 we are delivering connectivity towards SAP BW Cubes, Queries, ODS (without the need for a query), InfoSet, Tables, ABABP Functions.
- Cell Definitions would be part of the Query - but this really depends on what you are trying to achieve. Crystal Reports is offering a huge set of formulas - so depending an what you trying to do you could do this in Crystal Reports directly
- Crystal Reports will give you the free characteristics in the XI R2 release as well
- Crystal Reports supports multiple strcutures as well in XI R2
If you can send me your eMail Address I will send you some documents
thanks

Hi,
you can actually download all the documentation from our website.
Link : http://support.businessobjects.com/documentation/product_guides/
You choose the version of the product and then you can choose the "SAP Integration Kit". The user guide contains sections on reporting and connectivity.
Hope this helps

Hi
1. you can connect a CR to a Query, Infoset, Cube, FM.
you will then need to rebuild the report in CR.
2. CR is a reporting tool with lots of features, but its
not Bex.
3. NO, the fields you put in the report are fixed.
4. There are lots of Docs coming with the CR/CE kit.
