MIC Mandatory before UD

Dear Friends,

I am having inspection plan for finsh produtc with MIC with Long tem char active.

Also, I have made this char as required char in plan.

But system is allowing me to do UD even though I have not filled the results for this kind of MIC's.

On other hand for MIC's with Long Term inactive and required char active, the control is working in perfect manner while doing UD.

Please guide me where I am going wrong.

Regards,

Amit Shirsath

Yes This is SAP default that even if you do not Check the char(MIC) still you can take UD for the lot.

Long term means You can take record result any time after you have taken UD.

But if You forcefully close the char by "Forceful completion" then long term will not work.

In your case It's working perfectly.

On other hand for MIC's with Long Term inactive and required char active, the control is working in perfect manner while doing UD.

This also is working as per standard.

Remember one thing: Doing RR is independent of taking usage Decision. You can any time go and take UD without doing RR.

If you want system to check whether RR is done for MIC before UD then.....

User Exit QEVA0010 UD: Usage decision check will work precisly

I hope it's clear now.
