Output determination for Shipping order confirmation

Hi,

Im new to the SD module.

I want to send the BOL information to XI as idoc DESADV.DELVRY03.

How am i supposed to do this? Should i create a new Output type?

I guess since im sending this to XI i should maintain the partner function as LS right?

Solved. I changed the default value for the partner Function to LS from SH in the new Output Type i created and it worked.

Hi,

You need to define the new output and maintain the medium as EDI in the condition records.

You have to define the partner as the LS which means the logical system and create Port for both the sender system and the receiver system.

And from the technical point of view , define the IDOC segments and the message type.

it will wok.

Hi,

It is better you create a new output type and assign the processing program RSNASTED and assign the partner function carrier. You can choose it from the existing one and assign it in the output type as well as in the customer master records.
