Can IXOS(OPENTEXT) be used with WebDAV?

I have searched the documents for IXOS admin but I cannot find any coverage about

whether IXOS can manage WebDAV, what is the relationship between the media (e.g. DVD,

WORM, etc.) and WebDAV?

Could anybody here help explain?

WebDAV is an extension of the HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) providing a standard infrastructure for asynchronous

collaborative authoring of a wide variety of content across the Internet. The goal of WebDAV is to define the HTTP extensions

necessary to enable distributed web authoring tools to be broadly interoperable.

the major authorization is from WebDAV, this is under KM, OR Netweaver.

IXOS was the company that developed the first SAP R/3 archiving system. IXOS was renowned for its solutions which operate at thousands of companies and extend the functionality and increase the performance of the SAP system by managing the explosively growing amount of digital content. The archiving system is an independent, separately licensed solution but one tightly integrated with SAP, with its own sophisticated search engine and, if needed, viewer client. thats why, obvoiusly componies going for therd party itegration and interfacing thier products with Standard SAP components.

EX, itegration of IXOS with sap the Sap Netwaever plays a major role and have full authorization control over third party software.

Hi Rajes,

My requirement is Extraction of iXOS images from SAP into a folder, I never worked SAP to iXOS, I would like to know your advice, what is the procedure to do ?
