Error in OS Log

Hi Experts,

In our system, we are getting an error message for every 5 seconde in OS Log. The error message is " An I/O operation initiated by the Registry failed unrecoverably. The Registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system's image of the Registry". I don't know the exact reason, why we get this message in our logs. Could you please provide the solution for this error.

Thanks & Regards,

Sundara.

Hi Sundara

Please check windows event log from OS ( My Computer>RightClick>Manage-->Event Viewer)

If you find Event ID 333, then you have problem with your SMTP server connection. Do you have SAPCOnnect job scheduled every 5minutes? Check from SM37 /SCOT-----.Scheduled Job.. You can stop SAPConnect job for some time and check if you are getting the error.

Check Link http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=333 for more information

Thanks and Regards
