Archive log tape comeout automatically

Hi Experts,

We are using sap ECC 5.0 and DB is Oracle 10g and OS is IBM AIX.

in my archive log tape comeout automatically after 10 days, i could not find the reason for this issue.

every days its comeout automatically even if its have sufficicent space.

I checked if any parameter has to be change but i dont have any luck.

Check the expiration period of the tape to see if its less than the time set in the label, also check the tape count.

hi,

the parameter related to backup are present in init<SID>.sap profile file.

you use cleanup tape for drive cleanup and try with new tape.

note: cleanup tape will be automatically ejected after process completion.
