Capturing the TP/VS plan in the APO system

Former Member

Once the shipments planned by TP/VS are transferred to R/3, we find that they are either wrongly planned or few more deliveries can still be assigned to them or a smaller truck type can carry them, manual changes are made to such APO-planned shipments and the shipments are executed.

After this, how can we find out the original APO-plan such as the delivery numbers and respective weight and volume, shipment number wise?

Is it possible to capture the data at each stage of shipment i.e. status B, status C, status D and finally the one that was transferred to R/3?

Hi Sunil,

You can check the deliveries assigned to shipment in table /SAPAPO/VS_E_DLV and /SAPAPO/VS_SDSHP. In your case you can't do that as once the shipment is transferred to ECC, it is getting deleted in APO. Still you can check & confirm this

Hi Sunil,

there's a functionality called 'shipment history' in TP/VS - you can access it via transaction /SAPAPO/VSHIST.

You can execute this transaction using a shipment number or delivery number, and it will show you all the changes that have been performed. If you e.g. use a shipment number, you can see chronologically when which freight units were assigned or removed, or when the shipment status has changed. The output is a little bit hard to read, but you'll get used to it. However, it will not show volume or weight.

The transaction will only show information if the history is enabled - you have to maintain a number of days >0 in the basic customizing for TP/VS.

Regarding the last reply - it's not correct that the shipments get deleted in APO after they have been sent to ERP. Also, neither table /SAPAPO/VS_E_DLV, nor table /SAPAPO/VS_SDSHP contains TP/VS shipments.

In case a shipment gets simplified in APO, table /SAPAPO/VS_E_DLV will contain the current assignment of deliveries to the shipment in ERP. However, you should not bother checking this table as you can see this information by just displaying the shipment in ERP...

Hope that helps!

Best regards,

Hi Sunil,

The various types of order flow details will not be deleted in APO system but will not be visible once the new order/new status got updated in system.

The previous order status will get stored in the respective tables (either as structures or in table form) in the livecache.

If you need the status of those orders, capture the structures and develop a custom report to view and plan accordingly.
