Hi all,
Similar kind of issue occurred in one of our webdynpro applications of SAP NetWeaver Portal-
The error message "Error while checking in and storing" was returned by the function module while trying to replace documents in the DMS Server.
It was found that ABAP tables COMPONENTS & COMPONENT_DATA are inconsistent by looking into the HTTP trace file.
The HTTP patch "http.c#21" was being used in our server.
SAP suggested the below mentioned steps-
-->Download the most recent SAPHTTP version & install it.
-->Then delete the RFC connections SAPHTTP & SAPHTTPA through T-Code SM59
-->Regenerate them again with report RSHTTP05

They were carried out in our ECC server & the issue was resolved.
Please try them out if applicable in your case & let us know.

Thanks & Regards,
Shreyashri Kar

Thnx Chris for you prompt reply...

We are using virtual box for DMS (Win-Server 2008) over Win-Server 2012.

I checked SLG1 error related to DMS...

following details I found---

@5C\QError@Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1 Connection to partner timed out after 600s
@5B\QInformation@An error occurred when calling module SCMS_DOC_CREATE_FILES

Error while checking in and storing:

Hi,

thanks for this information. The data indicates that there is a timeout problem when establishing the connection to your content server. After 600 seconds the connection attempt timed out and so the error is raised.

I would recommend you to check the connection to your content server and try to speed up the connection.

Best regards,

Christoph

But GURU (Chrish) !

All users can access any documents.

And we are using same configuration with same Server since 2 years...

While storing time we face this problem since yesterday.

I doubt first it may be related to maxAllowedContainLength limit...

which was set to 300 mb.

I increase it to 4 gb (4294967295 bytes)

Any takers ???

Hi Chris

One more clue is...

Prod-DMS server (Live Co.)

Devl-DMS server (Devl Co,)

Both the VertualBox in one Virtual Server (Oracle)

But we can able to Saved Documents in Devl-DMS but not in Prod-DMS.

And if still, it is due to "Time Out Settings", then please advice, where we can change TimeOUT settings ???

Best Regards

First thanks for the tip, my problem is that the Basis configured the server content in DMS because, will be used two servers.

I configured Data Carrier Sets / Sets date carrier type "server, front end".

Type (data carr.type) / Description / Path               /  CAD system / Online

80                 /                  DMS Jundiai  /  Z_EMP_JD / 80                  /  X

I view an attached file in DMS normally, however when I make the check in Orig. the error occurs.

HTTP error: 500 (Internal Server Error) " ;ODBC State 00000; Error Code 26729080"

Message no. CMS025

Diagnosis

Error in accessing via HTTP
