Create a file from a existing IDOC

do you mean you will receive an IDOC from some SAP system and you want to convert it into a File format and then paste in some File server?.....you can do so by using an IDOC sender communication for SAP ---> XI flow and then FILE receiver communication for XI ---> File flow.......is my view of your req relevant?

We do not have XI interfase.

Hi!

If you directly want to post your idoc from R/3 to file system use Port Type File (transaction WE21) and use this port type in your outbond partner profile (transaction WE20).

Is this what you want to achieve?
