soamanager url configuration

Former Member

Good Morning,

does anyone know wehere to define the host name for the soamanager?

the system name is right now sapq01 but it has to be changed to sapq01.sub.domain.at

In the soamanager configuration from a system which works fine (sso+soamanager login works)

the whole soamanager administration fields are empty.

so I guess the host name/url configuration the soamanager is using when transaction ist started will be defined in another

transaction.

Thanks for any ideas & help,

Alessandro

Hello all,

Thanks for your answers which helped to investigate the problem and finally lead to the problem:

in the host file (aix-server) there was a missing entry like this: sapq01.sub.domain.at

After adding this to the host file it and restarting sap it worked fine.

Greets,

Alessandro

Your ICM hosts and port numbers are specified in the system profile. You may not have authorization to view or set the values. However, to view the current values, go to transaction RZ10 and Goto->Profile values->of a server. Select your app server and look for the 'icm/host_name_full' parameter. Also, your service and port management is controlled by the icm/server_port_XX parameters. You should have one for HTTP and one for HTTPS, as well as one for SMTP.

Hi,

Execute tcode SOAMANAGER. This will take you to a new browser where you have to login with your SAP username and password. Under SOA MANAGEMENT you can see Technical Configuration tab>click on System Global Settings>and select Access Information J2EE server. Here provide the hostname and the port number. Save the entries.

Execute tcode SMICM>Goto>Services. Here you can check for the HTTP Service Name/Port number.

Thanks,
