Transports are getting stuck in import

Hi Experts,

When I am importing transports using the tcode STMS, the import starts but it doesn't finish. this keep on going..

could you please tell me what could be the reason

Nidhi,

Goto STMS>Overview>Systems>Select SID (system)>Goto Menu SAP System> Check>carry out all 3 tests. If ends in error then it may be due to your DB users password is expired ( If you have applied password policy).

Check tables TRBAT & TRJOB. You can try by executing RDDNEWPP report in client 000.

Executing the report RDDNEWPP schedules the transport dispatcher RDDIMPDP as an event-controlled background job in the current client

Hi Nidhi,

Please check the log in STMS_IMPORT > GO TO > TP SYSTEM LOGS and provide the exact error .

Proabably this is an issue with the job RDDIMPDP .

Chceck the User DDIC is locked . If so unlock it .

If it is an issue with RDDIMP Job , please let me know .
