Serial / Material Number not in the Sales Storage Location

Hi

I am facing problem in paid repair workbench report - ZAVGM001

For a SO# It is not possible to use button "To open stock 411E" ->

error message "Serial /Material not in the Sales Storage Location" appears.

Can you pls check what is the issue.

Error :

Serial / Material Number not in the Sales Storage Location

can u pls advice route of error.

Hi Vicky,

First of all it seems some Z report, so you have to debug it.

> error message "Serial /Material not in the Sales Storage Location" appears.

This error has come because there is no material of that serial number on that specific location which you have entered,

Take the help of ABAPer to debuug the report.

Through which T-code i can check whether storage location is maintained or not?

pls advice as per SAO steps.

Hi,

while creating enterprise structure we maintain storage location in OX09 t-code for a particular plant. and when we create material we give storage location in General plant data/storage location voew of material master. Please check these settings in MM02 and OX09.

Dear Vicky,

Can you pls check and update with following entries:

1. Go to T. Code: MM02, and select the View: General plant data/storage location and then go to organizational elements and enter the plant and storage location

2. Material is activated and Serial Number maintained, in View: Plant / Data Storage 2 view of Material Master?

Also, look at stock overview in T. Code: MMBE and see if the serial numbers are visible?
