How Does BPS Handle - - holidays (Calander Year).

Hi all,

I would like to know how does BPS handle the bank holidays (Calander Year).

I would like to do planning on (assumption. .example)

I am planning for the 1st week . .06 Januar 2006 and assume Januar 6th(Friday) is a holiday in Bavaria and Baden-Wüttenberg(States) also assume saturday and sunday are holidays in Bavaria and Baden-Wüttenberg but not in other states like Hessen.

So when i am actually supposed to get the money on friday(06 Jan 2006) i get on monday (09 jan 2006)

but when i have to send money on friday(06 Jan 2006) I actually send it on Thursday (05 Jan 2006) because of the holiday.

The Planning activity would be normal for hessen und Sachsen (States)

How does BW-BPS or SEM-BPS handle the public Holidays.

Hello Oliver,

BPS does not have any standard functionality for using holiday calendars.

In 2004s BPS or BI-IP you could creata a FOX formula to do it and use a function module with FOX to check if a certain date is a holiday.

In older releases an exit function is the way to go.
