Dear all,
The new Document Browser functionalities should enable the user to navigate more easier within the different document info records. Therefore the new button "Document Select via" was implemented in transaction CV01N, CV02N, CV03N. With this button the user is able to choose between different display behaviours in these DMS transaction. By using the setting "Selection Screen" the well known screen is used and the user has to enter document number, type, part and version to get the document detail view.
Question -My document is not comming public or private folder. How can i assign the document number to public and private folder ?

Hi Harish,
Include your document in the public/private folder either through CV12 transaction or via document browser tab in Cv01N/Cv02N transaction by : 1. Select the folder under whcih you would like to include your doc
2 . right click
3. select 'create link" option

Hi Harish
The Browser function is similar to the Easy DMS interface where documents are stored in Private or Public folder.
Now, if your document doesnot fall into any private or public folder, you cannot use Browser function, you use normal cv01n screen.

Hello Harish,
For each folder which you see in the document browser screen, a document structure is created in the system. If you want add any document in this structure, open the document structure by of a folder below which you want to add a document. You can use T-code cv12 for this purpose. Then add the document in that structure and save the document. Now you will be able to see the document in document browser below the folder.
