Hello,
You can also try mentioned-below steps;

  • Step 1 - Using transaction PM01 chose the 'Enhance Infotype tab' and press the create 'All' button.
  • Step 2 - The following screen will appear allowing you to enter the new fields you wish to add to the Infotype. i.e. ZZSPINST and ZZBACS.
  • Step 3 - Once saved and activated the new fields will appear in the Infotype screen and database table, etc.

Dear Thiru,

Please use below steps to customize infotype .

Steps to create a HR Infotype:

1) Go to Transaction PM01.

2) Enter the custom Infotype number which you want to create (Should be a 4 digit number, start with 9).

3) Select the 'Employee Infotype' radio button.

4) Select the 'PS Structure Infotype'.

5) Click on Create... A separate table maintenance window appears...

6) Create a PS structure with all the fields you want on the Infotype

7) Save and Activate the PS structure

😎 Go back to the initial screen of PM01.

9) Click on 'All' push button. It takes a few moments.

10) Click on 'Technical Characteristics'. Infotype list screen appears

11) Click on 'Change'(pencil) button

12) Select your Infotype and click on 'Detail' (magnifying glass) button

13) Give 'T591A' as subtype table

14) Give 'T591S' as subtype txt tab

15) Give your subtype field as subtype field

16) Save and come back to PM01 initial screen

17) Click on 'Infotype Characteristics' ... Infotype list screen appears

18) Click on 'Change' (pencil) button

19) Click on 'New Entries'

20) Enter your Infotype number and short text

21) Here we have to set different Infotype Characteristics as per the requirement. (Better open another session with some standard Infotype's infotype characteristics screen and use as the reference to fill yours)

22) Save your entries.

23) Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.

24) If you want to change the layout of the Infotype as per your requirement...

25) In the PM01 initial screen...Select 'Screen' radio button and give 2000 as the screen name, then click on edit.

26) In the next screen.. Select 'Layout Editor' and click 'Change'.

27) Screen default layout appears...here you can design/modify the screen..change the attributes of the fields..etc.

28) Save and activate. (Don't forget to 'Activate at every level)

Regards

Using PPCI .. that means u have craeted for OM, so go to OOIT and add the infotype there

for example

9011 Vacancy Priority (slect this then..)

then go to infotypes per object

S Position 9011 Vacancy Priority

here i have assigned Vacancy priority infotype to S... so go to PO13. there u will get Vacancy Priority Infotype.

Let me know if you have any queries.

PM01 is the transaction code for the creation of a Custom Infotype for the PA module in HR.

Go to Transaction PM01. Create Infotype.

Enter the custom Infotype number to be created. The number should be between the customer name space 9001 - 9999. This is the no. range interval to be used for the Custom Infotypes.

See to it that the u2018Employee Infotypeu2019 and the u2018PS Structureu2019 radio buttons are selected on the screen.

Click on u2018Allu2019 push button on the screen. A separate Dictionary window appears on the screen.

Maintain the structure (Provide fields) which will be included in the current custom Infotype. Include all the fields that are needed in the Infotype.

The PAKEY/PBKEY and PSHD1 structures are not required to be provided while creating the custom Infotype. They are created by the SAP system automatically.

Save and Activate the PS structure and go back to the initial screen of PM01.

Now, click on u2018Technical Characteristicsu2019. Infotype list screen appears.

Click on u2018Changeu2019 (pencil) button and select your Infotype and click on u2018Detailu2019 (magnifying glass) button.

Give u2018T591Au2019 as subtype table.

Give u2018T591Su2019 as subtype text tab.

Give the subtype field as the field that we need to maintain using the V_T591A view.

Save and come back to the PM01 initial screen.

Click on u2018Infotype Characteristicsu2019. Infotype list screen appears.

Click on u2018Changeu2019 (pencil) button and click on u2018New Entriesu2019 button.

Enter your Infotype number and the short text for the Infotype.

Depending on the requirement, we will have to set the Infotype Characteristics. The best option would be to use the entries of a standard Infotype like 0000 (Actions) or 0001 (Org. Assignment) as a reference or copy the standard infotype. Other way is to click on the F4 button for each parameter on the screen to understand its significance.

Save the entries.

The layout of the Infotype can be changed as the way we want.

In the PM01 initial screen, select u2018Screenu2019 radio button and give 2000 as the screen name and click on Edit.

In the next screen, select u2018Layout Editoru2019 and click u2018Changeu2019.

Screen default layout appears. Here we can design/modify the screen, change the attributes of the fields, etc.,

Save and activate. Make sure that you should activate all screens.

Let me know if you need more information....
