Error" Index of values is missing for characteristic " in mapping

Hello CCM seniors,

Need yr help.

we are on SRM 4.0SP08 with CCM 2.0.

Need is of an internal catalog.

Hence created SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG via report.

Now when I am mapping the resp categories of this catalog to those of /CCM/MASTER_CATALOG, I am getting an error in 'display log':

Index of values is missing for characteristic xxxx

Need corrections please!

Hi Dinesh!!

I've never seen the specific error and I haven't got system today. Maybe you can:

- Execute the report /CCM/Verify_catalog to see any special message

- You can read the SAPNote 923213. An internal report for recreating index is presented there. That note is included in SP04 released yesterday.

Hi Jorge,

Thanks for yr answer but unfortunately did not solve my problem.

Note 923213 talks about recreating indices for TREX but TREX comes into picture at the time of publishing. Am I right?

My problem is Index of values is missing for characteristic .

Do you think manual assignment of characteistics betn srm_extracted and master_catalog will help here?

presently I have used ' with automatic characteristic assignment'.

Hi again Dinesh,

First of all, did you get any information in /CCM/VERIFY_CATALOG or in the log?.

have you got any multi-valuated characteristic??

I have NO multivalue characteristics.

I will be mapping 3 chara. of this SRM catalog to master catalog.

total products will be 928.

Any thoughts????
