How can a customer be extended to 2 sales office? My client wants that 2 sales office to be maintained for a single customer

You can create another partner function that will display a secon office, then use Profitability analysis to do the breakdown of it.

Hi,

as you already know we can maintain only one sales office in the customer master.

if the same customer is existing in two sales areas then you can do it.

simply extend the customer to the new sales area and assign the new sales office in the extended sales office.

Customer can be extended to only 1 Sales Office wrt to Sales Area.

It is not possible to have 2 Sales Office wrt a Single Sales Area in Customer Master Record.

Customer can be extended to Sales area and company code level , after you extend to new sales area you can assign sales office to customer master.

Hi Indraneel,

Sales office is assigned to sales area , you can assign the different sales offices to same sales area in customizing. (For e.g. you different sales offices can sell same product through same distribution channel for same sales organization)

you assign sales office in the customer master in sales tab page of sale area data. this sales office is valid for that sales area only. you can maintain different sales office for different sales area for same customer.

Further, The above sales office is defaulted in the sales order, however in the sales order we can change the sales office if order belongs to different sales office.

it is not possible with same compay code distribution channel and division

as in one sales area we can maintain one sales office
