Search engine from portal to external system

Hi all,

We are planning to develop a search engine tool via java for our company. My company is using many applications software in that SAP is also one among them.

We are using EP7.0 with knowledge management(KM). Our requirement and doubt is whether is possible to provide a KM link as a search engine to the third party software (ie java or moodle-lay) and how come its possible to provide.

I hope all will understood my query

Please guide us to start the project.

No...As far as i know till now SAP did not give access for any third party tools to Search in its DB. Trex should be the only option for you.

Thanks for youre reply... Its a like trex we are going to create. Because we are planning to link with multi systems. In that sap km in one part.

What i need is, km folder should able to search from other system(ie search tool)
