Hi all,

Which authorizations should be assigned to a user for accessing the NW (7.0) j2ee engine and using the web admin application?

As far as I remember you need either NWA_READONLY or NWA_SUPERADMIN

Hi Juan, those look like UME roles to me. Or you do mean I assign them to my user from the ABAP stack. Maybe I should rephrase my question. Now I cannot access to any application on the J2EE engine (which includes the UME).

You need to use user J2EE_ADMIN,

What roles are assigned to this user?

The role I assigned to is "SAP_J2EE_ADMIN". and when I was checking it, I found that another user has modified this role (which shouldn't be modified since it is a SAP created role, I guess). Is there a way to return to the original status of that role? Like regenerate profile or manually insert all needed authorizations.

That's the correct role... so no need to modify it.

Whats the error when trying to logon?

The error message is "User authentication failed"

btw, I'm able to perform MI synchronizations and run the SDM.
