Hi,
I want to prevent any DIR from doing a object link to PR which is released.
From PR side once it is released it does not allow to add any more object link but from DMS I can link to it.
I want to avoid this. Any way to achieve this.

I will give simple alternative method,
1.you have to link released PR, to DIR.
2.Now u have to release this DIR. this dir is now LOCKS.
3.so now there is no option to Change DIR,ie adding one more PR etc.

I am presently using the same scenario. But this does not prevent a user from creating a new DIR and linking it to a released PR.
I am looking for a solution to prevent the later from hapenning.
Any help in this would be appreciated.

I thinks you need development for this.
Kindly check one of these user exit for DIR Object link.
In below user exit while linking a DIR to PR/PO system will check its status.
If PR/PO is in release status system will give error or warning message.
Kindly check the possibilities with your technical person .
