Problems After EPH1 Installation

Hello gurus

We have a Solution manager wich we recently upgraded to EPH1

Now Solution Manager Diagnostics is not working, error is "You do not have sufficient rights to start Solution Manager Diagnostics."

After investigating in the forum and notes, i fund that the problem lies in RFC and JCo especially webadmin, but i dont have any of those JCO´s created, can they be created manually?

can we execute transaction solman_setup without losing the configuration that we currently have?

Hi,

You cannot access anymore the link http://<host>:<port>/smd to run the setup. The ABAP role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN

is not supported anymore. You have to launch the transaction solman_setup to do the setup.

- Do i need to run the solman_setup transaction?

- The solution mananger has systems and solutions configured, will they be affected / Modified in any way?

No problem,

SOLMAN_SETUP will not effect your current solutions and/or systems in SMSY.

So you can run it without losing any configuration.
