Costing item X is not assigned to a cost component

Hi,

I'm using CK11N for releasing standard cost and I got this warning message.

"Costing item 00007 is not assigned to a cost component", how can I fix this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Hi. I'm getting a similar error message (CK239 Cost element 52XXXX is not assigned to a cost component).

I looked at the OKTZ table and of course the cost element isn't there, but we don't want it to be there. What is happening during the CK11N process that is calling attention to a cost element that doesn't exist in our OKTZ table?

I have reviewed the material master data, the BOM and the routing and don't see any set up items that are out of the ordinary.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Josh
